Patch Shape Guide
Choose the shape that suits your logo. Each patch is full-grain leather, heat-stamped with your design in our Ottawa workshop. Sizes shown are the finished patch.
Which one should I pick?
Wide logos and wordmarks fit the ovals and rectangles. Badges, crests and emblems look right on the circle, shield or hexagons. If you're torn, go Circle. It's the one most people choose, and it suits almost everything.
Full-grain leather · four colours
Leather Colour Guide
Every patch is cut from full-grain leather tanned by S.B. Foot, then heat-stamped with your design. Four colours to choose from. The lighter the leather, the more your design stands out; the darker, the more it reads as a subtle emboss.
Leather patina
It's real leather, so no two patches are identical. Colour varies slightly from piece to piece, and it darkens into a richer patina the more the hat is worn.

Design File Requirements
A clean file makes a sharper stamp. Don’t have one? Upload what you’ve got. We’ll prep it for leather and send a free proof before production.
For best results
- Format: PNG or JPG (transparent-background PNG works best)
- Size: at least 1250×1250 px (about 5×5″)
- Resolution: 250 DPI or higher
- Colour: black & white / single colour — the stamp is one tone

Heat stamping presses one tone into the leather. It’s a stamp, not a print. Bold and simple always comes out best. If you’re unsure, we’ll adapt your logo for you.

Full-grain leather. The top layer of the hide, surface left intact. Stronger than corrected leather, and it develops a patina the more you wear it.

Every patch is heat-stamped with a brass die in our Ottawa workshop, not laser-engraved. The impression goes into the leather, so it won’t fade, crack or peel. Lifetime warranty on every hat.

The finished product
Stamped in, not printed on
Your design is pressed into full-grain leather with a brass die. A real impression you can feel, not ink on the surface. It wears in with the hat instead of wearing off it.
Made after you approve it
Nothing is pre-made. Every hat is stamped and pressed by hand in Ottawa after you sign off on the proof. Five hats get the same care as five hundred.

Common questions
What file works best for my logo?
A PNG with a transparent background is ideal; a JPG works too. Only have a low-res logo or a vector file? Send what you have and we’ll prep it for leather and send a free mockup.
How long does it take?
2–3 weeks from the day you approve the proof. Need it faster? Ask before you order and we’ll tell you what’s possible.
Is there a minimum order?
5 hats, any mix of styles and colours. Your price tier is the total number of hats in the order.
Is there a setup fee?
No. The price on the slider is the price you pay, in CAD.
Rather we design it for you?
Send us your logo and we’ll make a free mockup. Nothing goes into production until you approve it. Revisions are free.
